Suggestions From the Board
  • The board made 23 suggestions regarding things
    that would benefit ArtCentric
  • We were asked to choose and rank five suggestions
    from the list in order of importance

  • 1) Send out an email newsletter to members and
    donors
  • 2) Get involved with the local Chamber of
    Commerce
  • 3) Obtain a free showcase at the Corvallis Public
    Library

  • 5) Ask about putting information in school
    newsletters

  • Need to take advantage of their location by
    attracting people that are walking or driving by.
  • ArtCentric needs signage in plaza of Central
    Park.
  • Street sign on the corner of Jefferson and 8th
    street.

Permanent Free Standing Sign
  • Submit permit application to Development
    Assistance Center with fee of 75.
  • After approval, run it by Madison Avenue Task
    Force and by Corvallis Parks and Recreation.
  • Sign cost 85 - 125 with installation.
  • Total cost 160 - 200.

  • Send petition to Streets Traffic Engineering.
  • If approved, the City incurs the costs, plans
    logistics and places the sign.

    throughout the website
  • Re-categorize information to reduce confusion

Conclusion
  • By adopting our suggestions, ArtCentric will be
    able to strengthen patronage, which will lead to
    increased donation, class enrollment, and more
    advocates in the community.
