• Brain Waves
• Alpha Waves (?) Awake and resting mind is
  wondering
• Beta Waves (?) Awake with mental activity
• Theta Waves (?) Children and sleeping adults, in
  awake adults time of stress and disorders
• Delta Waves(?) Infants and adults in deep sleep,
  in awake adults major brain damage

Emotion

• Controlled by the hypothalamus and amygdala
• Damage to these areas effects sensing and
  expressing fear, love, hate, anger, sexuality,
  learning, motivation, and memory

Special Senses

• Taste near postcentral gyrus and insula
• Smell temporal and parts of the frontal lobe
• Vision posterior occipital lobe
• Hearing temporal lobe
• Equilibrium cerebellum mostly with some
  interaction of the thalamus

Cerebral Lateralization

• Neither hemisphere is dominant but each is
  specialized to certain functions
• Categorical hemisphere (usually Left) spoken and
  written communications as well as analytical
  thinking
• Representational hemisphere (usually right)
  insight, imagination, spatial relationships,
  musical and artistic skill
