What to do if you DO get a virus
  • Don't panic
  • Disconnect the computer
  • Boot into safe mode and re-run your anti-virus.
  • If that fails, install another virus (in safe
    mode) and try that.

    computer without your knowledge and send back to
    its manufacturer information you would rather not
    divulge.
