  • The public as a whole, in the form of the
    government, owns most of the important things and
    ideas used to make money.
  • The government sets targets for production and
    plans the development of the economy.
  • Wealth is equitably distributed to all people,
    reducing extreme differences in wealth among the
    people.
  • Workers must be protected from being abused by
    the owners of companies.
  • The government provides programs to assure the
    welfare of all citizens.
  • Citizens are taxed to pay for social services,
    with the wealthier citizens carrying most of the
    burden.

    readers why your choice is the better of the two
    systems.

  • 2 Paragraphs - Demonstrate knowledge of the
    principles of both philosophies. Describe them.
  • Final Paragraph Conclusion. Give your opinion
    and sound reasons to support your position.
