create the legal environment for transition of
radio and television
broadcastings to the digital technology. The
second aim To make technological solution for
transition of radio and television
broadcastings to the digital
technology. The third aim To organize
framework for transition of radio and television
broadcastings to
the digital technology according to the unified
plan in terms of
the geographical position partly and step by
step. The fourth aim To organize the
training and advertise about the program to the
citizen,
institutions and economic entity. Switch off

- Government will invest for digital television
migration of UHF Tv - 2011-2013 10 billion tugrug (USD 8.2 million)
for digital tv migration - 2014 To support to buy STB for low income
household - Other television networks will invested by
private sectors for digital television migration
10 Implemented work
- Policies for the transition of digital radio and
television system approved. - The order, related to the digital radio and
television system, worked out. - The conditions and requirements, related to the
digital radio, television equipments, created. - The plan and allocation of the range frequencies,

Analogue technology in Mongolia now, will be
terminated at 12 am , 31st July, 2014, and the
digital technology system will start in use. - To take advice from foreign and domestic

transmitted to the digital radio and television
broadcasting system. - To formulate the instructions and recommendation
