13
Level One Position (Rights)
  • People follow you because they have to
  • Your influence will not go beyond the lines of
    your job description.
  • The longer you stay here, the higher the turnover
    the lower the morale

Level Two Permission (Relationships)
  • People follow you because they want to.
  • People will follow you beyond your stated
authority. This level allows work to be fun.
  • Caution Staying in this level without rising to
the 3rd level will allow motivated people to
    become restless.

  • This is where success is felt by most people.
  • They like you what you are doing.
  • Problems are fixed with little effort because of
    momentum.

Level Four People Development (Reproduction)
  • People follow you because of what you have done
    for them.
  • This is where long range growth occurs.
  • Your commitment to continued development will
ensure ongoing growth to the organization
    people.
  • Do whatever you can to achieve stay on this
    level.

The Law of Influence
  • He who thinks he leads, but has no followers, is
only taking a walk (fooling himself).
  • If you cant influence others, they wont follow
