• 1992 Germany introduced the so-called site
  procedure
• calculated evaluation of emissions from radio
  transmitters
• relevant for transmitter having an EIRP equal or
  greater 10 W
• covered frequency range9 kHZ -300 GHz

• Since 1992 additional to the site procedure
  three nationwide measurement campaigns were made
  across Germany by technical staff from the
  Federal Network Agency
• Alongside the site procedure the measurements
  ensures the protection of persons exposed to
  electromagnetic fields
• Often the wish for an automated measurement
  System arised

• in 2007 the Federal Network Agency introduced 12
  piece portable automated measurement system
• the system is carrying out, frequency - selektiv
  measurements in the range from 9 KHz 3 GHz
• the distributed draft Technical Report, gives
  detailed information about the Automatic Long
  Term Measurement System
