SURVEY METHODOLOGY

• Survey Design
• Elizabeth Sprecher Catalyst and the original
  designer of the Survey Instrument

• Content Validity of the Instrument
• Reviewed by the NPMA Executive board
• Numerous Changes were made to clarify the
  questions, job headings, and to fit the survey
  instrument

SURVEY POPULATION AND METHODOLOGY

• The population for this study consisted of ALL
  NPMA members as of 1 July 2005
• Therefore N3819
• Survey Distribution was accomplished through a
  MAIL SURVEY with an optical scan form enclosed
• with an NPMA addressed envelope

SURVEY RESPONSES

• Survey Response Rate
• 103 Mailings were returned as undeliverable
  thereby reducing our N to 3716
• 1062 Usable surveys were received by the cut-off
  date of July 27th.
• Response Rate of 29
