Types of Sacrifices
  • Sin offering. Got rid of contamination to
    sanctuary caused by transgressions
  • Burnt offering. Expressed worshipers deepest
    thanksgiving and dedication.
  • Peace offering. A meal shared by worshipping
    family.
  • Sacrifice of Christ on the cross expresses all
    three of these functions.
