Etre as the Auxillary Verb

• Etre is used as the auxillary, or helping verb,
  in past tense sentences when expressing motion or
  states of being.
• We will only work with aller right now, more
  verbs coming soon!

• Aller- PP allé (masculine subjects)
• Aller PP allée (feminine subjects)
• When you dont know the gender of the subjects,
  treat it as masculine.

Interrogative Expressions

• Tu es allée? (inflection)
• Es-tu allée? (inversion)
• Est-ce que tu es allée? (est-ce que)
• Only invert the subject and être! (not the past
  participle)
