Title: The Lord
1The Lords Supper

But its end is the way of death. - Psalm 1912-13

se me from secret faults. 13 Keep back Your
servant also from presumptuous sins Let
them not have dominion over me. Then I
shall be blameless, And I shall be
innocent of great transgression. -
3We dont get to decide how to worship God He
does.

Him must worship in spirit and truth. - John 1717 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your
word is truth.

does.

- 3 And in the process of time it came to pass
that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the
ground to the LORD. 4 Abel also brought of the
firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the
LORD respected Abel and his offering, 5 but He
did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain
was very angry, and his countenance fell.6 So
the LORD said to Cain, Why are you angry? And
why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do
well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not
do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is
for you, but you should rule over it. -
5We dont get to decide how to worship God He
does.
- Hebrews 114 By faith Abel offered to God a more
excellent sacrifice than Cain, - Romans 1017 So then faith comes by hearing, and
hearing by the word of God. -
6Why do we observe the Lords Supper?
Because we have instruction from God.
7The Lord instituted it.

is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 Then He
took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take
this and divide it among yourselves 18 for I say
to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine
until the kingdom of God comes. 19 And He took
bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to
them, saying, This is My body which is given for

you. 28 For this is My blood of the new covenant,
which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this
fruit of the vine from now on until that day when
I drink it new with you in My Fathers kingdom.

My body which is broken for you do this in

took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is
