• 10 Acute hospital sites
• Hundreds of Medical Centres
• A population of 1.2 million
• Huge gulfs in social demographics
• Huge reliance on cars!

Why did we need people to share their journeys?

• Introduction of Managed Car Parking Policy
• Congestion on large hospital sites
• Congestion in Greater Glasgow area
• Genuine attempt to help people save money

What did we do?

• Approached Liftshare to provide options
• Engaged with Staff Side reps
• Used postcode information to target specific
  hospitals first
• Peppered all sites with leaflets
• Held Roadshows at all sites
• Ran competitions for new members
• Practiced what we preached!

• Constant service re-design
• We were not perfect we made some
  mistakes.underestimated strength of opposition!
