Reading Recovery

• short-term early intervention program for at-risk
  first grade students
• one-on-one daily instruction

Push-In Classroom Support

• collaborate/consult/co-teach with teachers to
  deliver literacy strategies within the classroom
  environment
• model reading and writing initiatives

Small Group Instruction

• differentiated literacy instruction for students
  in grades 1-5, based on individual needs
• supporting the New York State Standards in
  reading, writing, listening, and speaking

Assessment

• monitor all student progress, using on-going
  diagnostic testing
• use formal and informal assessments to drive
  instruction
