- Oil is also a NON-RENEWABLE RESOURCE. (once it is
gone, it will take a long time to develop more
oil.) - Oil comes from rocks underneath the surface that
decay and melt. It takes MILLIONS of years for
rocks to turn into crude oil.

over the world! Houston is a major port city that
receives gasoline everyday!
