• Insure the dosimeter has been recently
  calibrated.
• Look for the service technicians tag to insure
  recent calibration

• Once you are satisfied that the dosimeter has
  recently been calibrated
• Charge the dosimeter by using the charger issued

• Look through the eye piece and observe the scale.
• While the dosimeter is on the charger, adjust the
  line on the scale until it reads 0.
• This is also known as zeroing
