- Interdisciplinary Cooperative Education
- Prepares students for gainful employment
- Provides opportunities for students to gain
practical work-based learning experience - 2 components
- Related Class
- Work-Based Learning Experiences
- 3 total credit hours
- Students attend school half the day in the
regular classroom setting - Remainder of the day is devoted to work-based
learning at local training stations
24Do I Qualify for ICE?
- Student Must
- Be a senior
- Be in good standing with attendance office
- Satisfactorily complete ALL the necessary
paperwork in the ICE application - Provide their own transportation to and from work
- Agree to work a minimum of 15 hours per week for
pay - Secure their own placement at a
coordinator-approved training station owned or
supervised by someone other than a relative.
