Further Key Issues on NGN
Overall Considerations for future works

• FGNGN closed at November 2005, further work
  could be continued through NGN-GSI with JRG
  activities
• January NGN-GSI meeting could be the place to
  review and re-exam all FGNGN deliverables
• This means that future work will be based on the
  results of FGNGN (and might be very similar
  subjects or areas)
• General observations on direction of
  contributions

• Western Europe Bring TISPAN and 3GPP results
• Eastern Europe mainly Migration aspects
• North American IMS based and some of
  application oriented subjects (IP TV,
  Management etc.)
• Asia ???

One Step Forward in CJK NGN Activity

• Future objectives of CJK NGN-WG - until today,
  CJK NGN-WG mainly focus on collaboration for
  ITU-T NGN activities - for the future, CJK
  NGN-WG will be moved to develop Standards
• Future actual activities in CJK NGN-WG for
  developing standards - developing new/own CJK
  standards - identify missing issues and develop
  as standards - Enhance or update deliverables
  based on ITU-T results
• Propose building Drafting Group in CJK NGN-WG
  based on ITU-T results - build Drafting Group
  based on ITU-T deliverables or draft
  recommendations - ToR of Drafting Group could
  be following 1) Enhancement of deliverables
  or draft recommendations from CJK point of view
  2) This activity could be based on
  documentation from ITU-T 3) Collect inputs
  from CJK members/experts, lead discussion and
  yield resulted enhancement and update of
  documentation 4) Take approval from CJK
  NGN-WG members through management 5) Prepare
  the results as input contributions to ITU-T
  6) These process will circulate until finish of
  the document
