Final honours year structure
  • Lecture courses 3 blocks of teaching, 5 weeks
    each
  • Tutorials 3 blocks of 4 sessions, each with
    different tutor
  • Dissertation due in March
  • Psychology exams in May

Dissertation
  • If you do not have a project yet, need to find a
    supervisor
  • All students - register name of supervisor and
    project by week 3
  • Extra dissertation available (max 2 students)

    week) if you need to discuss any matter that
    needs the course organisers attention

Things you need to do as semester starts
  • Read your handbook Health safety, course and
    contact information
  • First lectures begin Monday 22nd
  • If still trying to decide on courses, safest to
    go along until course change is official
  • Sign up for first block of tutorials Wednesday
    24th (week 1)?
  • Register dissertation title/supervisor week 3
    (further reminder will follow)?

Exams in May
  • All psychology courses examined in May (none in
    December)?
  • The exams also include a General Paper, also
    taken in May (tutorials often used to prepare for
    this)?
  • No teaching in 2nd half of 2nd semester
    dissertation and revision time

  • Psychology Society
  • Wine reception after seminars on Mondays
    (Seminars 5-6.30pm, F21, beginning 29th
    September)?

    careers advisor.
