Title: Welcome to
1- Welcome to
- Metaphysics II
- Applying Unity Principles and
- Concepts to Daily Life
- Facilitated by Rev. Kurt Condra
- August 13, Week 9 of 11
2Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10A Demonstration
- Demonstration occurs when we have realized
something in consciousness and then it manifests
itself in the outer. - Three steps in every demonstration
- Recognition of Truth.
- Holding an idea.
- Acknowledging fulfillment.
3Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10B Consciousness
-
- Must raise consciousness to higher levels of
understanding. - Understanding comes through appropriation of
divine ideas and the realization of Truth beyond
intellectual concepts. - As we raise consciousness, it becomes easier
and easier to demonstrate. - One aspect is awareness of beliefs and
attitudes that hinder spiritual growth.
4Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10C God First
-
- Focus attention inward on God, the kingdom, and
our own divine nature. - Get in touch with our divine potential
- Make choices that bring about greatest good for
all. - Look objectively at fears, resistance, or
unforgiveness we may harbor.
5Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10D Thanksgiving
-
- Give thanks prior to prayers, prior to
demonstration. - Gratitude increases in our awareness.
- We put God first by being grateful that Spirit
is always present and available.
6Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10E Faith
-
- Scripture tells us, Now faith is the assurance
of things hoped for, the conviction of things not
seen (Heb. 111). - Faith is the activating faculty that is the
impetus of moving divine ideas from the unseen to
the seen. - We must have faith that what we want to
demonstrate is already ours in consciousness and
that we can manifest it in the relative realm.
7Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10F Divine Ideas
-
- Formless in the higher levels of being.
- Under law of mind action, ideas take on form.
- We experience a divine idea directly by
- 1) believing in the idea, and 2) becoming
totally willing toward the idea and affirming it. - Demonstration occurs as our minds appropriate
divine ideas and we give them form and location
in time and space.
8Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10G Love
-
- should permeate all human desires and efforts.
- is the harmonizing, unifying power that heals
and transforms all situations. - like peace, can only be established by
individuals. - As we become more loving, we fulfill our
responsibility of individuality.
9Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10H Harmony
-
- Harmonize yourself with the Christ Mind and be
determined to see only harmony everywhere. - Give no power to any seeming difference, and
give up any attachments to divisions. - Believe in harmony, and be totally willing
toward harmony affirm it, and claim it.
10Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10I Joy/Cheerfulness
-
- Manifestations and evidence that our free and
open minds are stayed on God. - It dissolves uneasiness, fears, doubts, and
discouraged states of mind. - This puts us squarely in contact with divine
ideas and substance.
11- Divine Love, through me,
- blesses and multiplies
- all that I am,
- all that I give,
- and all that I receive.
- Thank you, Father-Mother God
12Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10J Fear and the Negative Side
-
- In addition to never considering the negative
side, we also must not become fearful because of
the negative side. - Identifying with the negative or being fearful
of it blocks demonstration. - Being aware of our fears and the negative
aspect of anything is our first step in
overcoming them. - Once identified, use denials and affirmations
to raise consciousness from fear to love, from
false to true.
13Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10K Nonresistance
- The adversary comes as opposition,
difficulties, delays, or challenges. - Resisting, resenting, and fighting the
adversary only increase it in consciousness. - Through nonresistance, we choose to learn from
life and become aware of the inner presence and
power of God. - We are not to attack life but to learn and grow
from it. - This realization helps us meet challenges with
inner peace and spiritual poise.
14Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10L Forgiveness and Repentance
- Any unforgivingness can block demonstration.
- What we hold against ourselves and others keeps
us focused on the outer and not on the inner. - Forgiveness and repentance mean changing our
minds and resolving to think and act according to
divine law. - We put the realization of Truth in the place of
error.
15Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10M The Law of Visualization/See the Good
- We are to affirm the presence of the Good at
all times and under all circumstances. - Even if one cannot see any trace of it, the
potential for good is somehow, someway, there. - Everyone, as the Christ, has the potential and
power to bring forth and manifest good from any
situation. - Perceive it, affirm its presence, and give
thanks in advance for its revelation, and we
experience good.
16Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10N Praise and Blessing
- The resources of Spirit are beyond our highest
flights of imagination. - If we can keep this in mind, we will learn to
trust Spirit more than ever. - Rise above all doubt or mistrust and enter
joyously into a consciousness of praise and
thanksgiving. - What we focus on and praise increases.
17Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 100 Meditation
- Daily meditation is imperative for spiritual
growth. - When we invest time in the silence, we know
oneness. - Meditation will keep us in a state of
reciprocity to the divine ideas of Spirit. - Meditation becomes more enjoyable and
beneficial as we continue to practice it. - Illumination, expanded viewpoints, and many
other insights can be experienced in the minds of
those who meditate.
18Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10P Prayer
- Prayer is a continual process of praise,
thanksgiving, and claiming what is already true
in God Mind. - God is always more willing to give than we are
willing to receive. - When we get this, prayer becomes a joyous
experience. - Three ways to fulfill the law of the Word
(prayer) - 1) giving thanks in advance
- 2) asking
- 3) affirming
19Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10Q Concentration
- Do not to confuse true concentration with
strained attention. - True concentration is keeping an idea or a goal
like prosperity or wholeness secure in mind. - Erratic changes in mind can interfere with
concentration. Intelligent changes of mind can
actually be part of real concentration. - True concentration can be quite relaxed
20Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10R Realization
- Invest time in meditation and prayer so that
realization may occur. - Whatever it we wish to demonstrate, we must
first realize it and see it accomplished in
consciousness. - When we realize something in consciousness it
is when we know that we know that it is done.
21Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10S The Creative Power of Thought
- Cannot be overestimated.
- Through our thoughts, we create the experience
of our world. -
- Power of our thought linked with the power of
the word is a mighty tool to change our
experience of the world and demonstrate what we
want.
22Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10T The Word and the Spoken Word
- The words we use are linked to our thoughts.
- Choose words that are the seeds of what we want
to manifest. - Speak these words with power, authority, and
dominion.
23Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10U Denials and Affirmations
- Denials and affirmations are specific practices
to activate the power of our thoughts, the word,
and the spoken word. - We would deny that any negative appearance has
power over us and affirm the Truth. - We use denials to brush away obstacles and
affirmations to claim that which is already ours
in consciousness.
24Chapter TenKeys to Demonstration
- 10V Patience and Trust
- Working things out into physicality can take
time. - Patience and trust help us remain focused on
the truth that God is our Truth, Source, and
Supply.
25For Discussion Think of time when you saw the
good despite appearances. What did you do?
