Logon
You can obtain a User Name and Password by
completing and submitting the form found on the
Design Tanks Website at http//www.designtanks.com
/DesignTanks/subpage.aspx?type1id4cntrlid4

Click on New Project in the upper left hand
corner of the screen. Enter a name for your tank
project and click Save.
Create a New Project

Click on New Tank Estimate
Create an Estimate

Click on the style of tank desired by clicking on
one of the arrows or by clicking on the Advanced
Selection tab.
Select a Tank Style

Select the type of chemical you will be storing.
Then, enter the temperature, concentration and
specific gravity of that chemical
Define Tank Usage
Select the chemical you will store
Enter maximum chemical temperature, concentration
and specific gravity

Find the tank size that best meets your needs and
click the Select button

Click the sign to expand the list of
accessories available in any category. Select
the accessories you wish to add to your tank by
clicking a check mark in the box next to them

Click the sign to expand the accessory list

You can also increase the quantity by changing
the number on the right side of the accessory and
clicking Update
Update the Quantity of Tank Accessories
Click any box to check mark the accessories you
want to add
To increase the quantity of an accessory, enter
the number you need here and click Update

When you have selected all of the accessories you
need, click on Submit for Formal Quote. A
communication will be sent to a Design Tanks
Sales Representative who will contact you with
firm pricing. (All pricing given is LIST PRICE
and is subject to discount)

You can also click on View PDF and it will
bring up a printable version of your quote

This is what the PDF will look like. At this
point, you can click out of this and review or
change whatever you like on the current estimate
or even start over with a new one.

Another nice feature the Configurator has to
offer is the DWF Drawings viewer. Simply click on
DWF Drawings to see a three dimensional view of
the tanks we offer

From here you will need to download the DWF
viewer. Depending on your internet connection it
may take a few minutes. Once this step is
complete, you will not have to do it again.Click
the here button and follow the step by step
instructions. After the download is complete, you
can click on any of the tank style to view it in
the DWF viewer.

With the DWF viewer, you can rotate, zoom,
sectionalize and much more, all with the tools
you see circled.
