• HF Interoperability Cooperative Meeting (ICM)
• Founded February 2000 to address vendor
  interoperability of STANAG 5066 products.
• Charter members USN, DERA (UK), NC3A, Rockwell
  Collins and Marconi Mobile.

Objectives

• Provide forum for implementers to work out
  interoperability problems.
• Provide lessons learned to new members.
• Initial emphasis on resolving CFTP
  interoperability between Marconi Mobile (UK Navy)
  and Rockwell Collins (US Navy) prior to Battle
  Force Email 66 deployment.
• Provide technical direction for future updates.

AIM of STANAG 5066 ICM

• Provide information to NATO HFR-AHWG to ensure
  STANAG 5066 interoperability.
• To maintain STANAG 5066.
• To encourage and promote new client applications.
• To define networking aspects of STANAG 5066.

Testing and Certification

• DERA is offering its facilities as a compliance/
  conformance test house for any vendor of 5066
  products,
• DERA is currently the only organization capable
  of doing this.

• The ICM has been established to support vendor
  interoperability in STANAG 5066 product
  development.
• It is a working group, open to all STANAG 5066
  vendors.
• Current IMG Secretary is Don Kallgren (NC3A).
