  universe around it.

• Geology the study of the origin, history, and
  structure of the solid earth and the processes
  that shape it.
• a. Geologist very useful in searching for new
  deposits of coal, oil, natural gases and other
  useful minerals. May also study the forces
  within the earth to better understand and
  forecast volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
