Introduction

• This project stems from a solid earth science
  research project.
• Discover Our Earth is an educational website
  designed for discovery-based learning.
• We provide free access to the data with
  specialized internet mapping software and other
  software tools as well as supportive information.

• A computer and an Internet connection are all
  you need to access this site.
• Access is provided through three gateways
  teacher pages, student pages and web tools
• This allows users to access the website from
  multiple perspectives.
• Technology used GIS, Java, Flash, HTML
