Center for the Homeless

• The center is located at 813 s.Michigan st. South
  Bend,IN 46601.
• The shelter opened December 1988.
• The shelter helps anybody that needs it.
• The shelter has helped 25,000 since they opened.
• The shelter has the dance for the homeless and
  CFH annual golf tournament very year to help
  raise money.

Wheeler Mission Ministries

• The shelter is located at 245 N.Delaware
  st.Indianapolis,IN 4620.
• The shelter opened in 1893.
• They care for men and women and/or with children.
• They have the drumstick dash every year to raise
  money.
• They have helped 10,137 people.

Volunteering

• The center for the homeless needs volunteers for
  the front desk and the exercise room.
• Wheeler mission ministries needs volunteers for
  children story time and a helper for the
  operation person.
• I can not volunteer for neither of these
  shelters.

Maniac Magee paragraphs

• He was homeless because his parents died in a
  trolley wreck. He had to try to keep warm. He had
  to try to find food and water. He couldnt go to
  school.
• The people who helped him was Grayson, the Beal
  family, and the Mcnabs. The Beal family let him
  live with them.Grayson let him live in the
  baseball shed. The Mcnabs also let him live with
  them.
• The story ended with Maniac running away from the
  Mcnabs. Then with Mars bar getting Amanda . After
  that Amanda tugging on Maniacs ear and telling
  him he going to live with them no matter what.
  Yes he does find a home.
