credits required of all students in Electrical
or Computer Engineering 54 students enrolled
in Fall of 2002 Approximately 100students per

Part II Assignment of and initial work on senior
projects. The instructor finds projects
(mostly from industry). Industrial mentor
interest and commitment is essential Teams of 3
5 students are assigned based on interest.
Team members are also chosen so that there is a
range of backgrounds and achievement on the
team. Students work to prepare project proposals
Proposals are formally presented at the end of
the semester and evaluated by a panel from
industry.
