  • Specialty Chemicals Division is a polyurethane
    technology-based group dedicated to providing
    superior quality, service consistency,
formulating expertise, and a commitment of
    working closely with its customers.
  • Founded over 17 years ago primarily as a toller
for reactive hot mets, 2 part polyurethane,
prepolymers and TPUs, we have proven
    polyurethane knowledge, expertise and experience.
  • Specialty Chemicals Division has polyurethane
formulating expertise that is used to support
existing tolled business and is also being used
by TSE to replace styrene ester, epoxy and vinyl
ester resins in the composite industry.
  • Our manufacturing facility has been designed to
    provide state-of-art polyurethane processing
capabilities for the production of industry
    leading urethane coatings, moisture cure
    adhesives, two part polyurethanes, and
    elastomers.

MANUFACTURING
  • The manufacturing facility is equipped with (4)
    3,750-gallon, (1) 1,500-gallon, (2) 500-gallon,
and (1) 250-gallon reactors, all of which are
full vacuum and pressure rated, 316 stainless
    vessels.
  • All reactors utilize precision digital
    temperature controllers, variable speed drives
and individual tempered hot oil systems capable
    of both heating and cooling
  • Reactors are designed to operate under closed
system conditions with the charging of all
materials from either bulk, drum, tote or bag.
  • All vessels are equipped with jacketed draw-off
    lines and in-line filtration. Filtration
operates between 10-800 micron and is dependent
    upon customer requirements and materials
    viscosity.
  • Reactors design allows for flawless scaling of
products either up or down in volume.
