Purpose
To provide an overview regarding USACIDC
operations with the USAREUR AOR and statistical
data regarding rape/ sexual assault
investigations within the USAREUR AOR.

Mission
Today, in an AOR extending from Greenland to
the east coast of Russia and the southern tip of
Africa, the 202nd Military Police Group (CID)
supports commanders by conducting Army, Joint and
Combined criminal investigations of serious,
sensitive or special interest matters, and
criminal intelligence, logistics security,
counter-drug, antiterrorism, force protection and
protective services operations in support of Army
and Department of Defense interests in the EUCOM
AOR in order to prevent crime and maintain the
Soldiers, civilians, family members, units and
materiel necessary to carry out the orders of the
President in peacetime, combat and contingency
operations. On order, the 202nd Military Police
Group (CID) transitions to war IAW existing
CONPLANS and continues with its assigned mission.

    decrease from 47.1 in 2005.

CONTRIBUTING FACTORS
  • Alcohol/Drug involvement was a contributing
    factor in 45 of all incidents/investigations, a
    decrease from 52.1 in CY 05 and a significant
    decrease from the reported 69 in CY 04.

DATE/TIME PROFILE
  • 79.4 of all incidents occurred between
    Thurs-Sun, most frequently on Sat and Sun
    (compared to 73.3 in CY 05).
  • 68.3 of all incidents occurred between
    2100-0600. A slight decrease from CY 2005.
