• The system of marriage where the man marries only

• Mono means one
• Monogamy is considered to be the perfect marriage
  by some of the western cultures.

What is bigamy?

• Marrying another person while you are still
  married to someone else
• It is against the law in our country

What is polygamy?

• A system of marriage whereby one person has more
  than one spouse at the same time.
• Poly means many
• The Bible recognizes only one form of marriage,
  e.g monogamy

Who practices polygamy?

• It has been and still is being practiced in
  various cultures across the world, and to a
  lesser extent in countries that have adopted the
  western culture e.g
• Islam
• African
• Mormon religion

What are the advantages?

• Dont you think it would be nice to have only one
  chance to cook for your husband each week?
• Doing the laundry for your husband once a week
  would be something to die for.
• Having the status of a married woman, while only
  bearing the responsibilities of serving your
  husband only once in a while.

• Is it fair to have to share your husband?
