- Note To pass 101 you must pass in the practical
- work component and attend 4 out of 6 of the
practical sessions.

- These commence in week 1 of Semester.

in the Chemistry Building.

to past exam questions etc. - You must check this site regularly.
9Independent Learning Tasks (ILTs)
- Designed to complement both theory and practical
work. - The ILTs are a hurdle requirement.
- The material presented is examinable.
- Access the ILTs through LMS.
- 4 ILTs per semester.
- ILT1 and ILT2 are available from next week
(completion date April 1) - Details available in your workbook and the LMS.

- Learning Centre
- Opens in week 2 between 1-2 pm daily
- ChemCAL laboratory
- Open each day from 8.30 am - 5 pm
- Note that in weeks 1, 3 and 4 of semester a
tutor will be on duty each day between 9-10 am
and 1-2 pm to assist with use of the system.

15Science 101
Series of 2 seminars and study groups to meet
for 1 hour per week commencing on either Monday
March 5 or Tuesday March 6. This will have been
scheduled as part of your Science first year
timetable. The seminars will be held in the Arts
Hall, 1st floor, Old Arts Building. www.science.un

- For 26-28th February, staff will be available
to help you with timetable changes (Alloc8)
between 11 am and 3 pm in the Wilson Computer Lab
(Rm G70), Richard Berry Building. - From 29th February till 14th March inclusive,
students need to visit departments as follows - Chemistry
- 10am-12 midday
- Chemistry Building, Room 187 (Ground Floor)
