Delaware Redevelopment Authority
  • Established through Executive Order 85
  • Goals
  • Serve as the Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA)
    to respond to the needs of the Delawareans and
    communities impacted by the closure.
  • Make recommendations to DoD concerning the
    closure of the Reserve Center in the areas of
    economic development, infrastructure,
    transportation and environment.
  • Work with the DoD to transition the Reserve
    Center from military ownership to private, state
    or local control.

  • DEDO Director or her designee

    private sector environmental protection,
    conservation and land use the homeless and the
