• Hole dug to determine soil type and drainage
• Water drained away in less than 15 minutes

• Laid out rough rectangle of 8 x 17 (total 140
  ft2) with 2 x 4 pcs
• Created a rough kidney shaped pattern that approx
  consumed the square footage
• Used Red flags to create profile
• Once set, used red spray paint to create profile

• Removed sod by hand
• Found many tree roots that had to be chopped out
• Dug out additional dirt to get to 5 depth
• Tilled soil
• Should have added compost at this point
• Disposition
• Hauled sod and tree roots to Maple Grove compost
  site
• Gave excess soil to neighbor

• Purchased plants from Prairie Restorations in
  Princeton for approx 1.20 each
• 153 plants for 182.50
• They helped doing substitutions for plants they
  didnt have in stock

• Watered immediately
• Day after some plants were pulled out by deer
• Since they havent bothered them???
