Summary
  • Northern Rail wishes to increase its passenger
    numbers by ensuring it connects people to
    opportunities by most sustainable means
  • Ecostations are seen as the way forward to
    deliver a facility that is both integral to the
    community and fully integrated with all modes of
    transport
  • In the meantime Station Travel Plans should be
    developed hopefully with DfT funding and car
    clubs are seen to be a part of the offer
