2Some Lessons Learned Partnerships between
Universities, Private and Public Sector,
Government and Organizations are KEY to more
effective and faster development The
Business Labs pilot program and initial
videoconferences from Ecuador, has assisted in
the promotion, expansion and replication of the
program throughout the LAC region via the GLDN.
Including the increase of partnerships and
collaboration between the participants working on
the program and its development in their
countries.
3- Some Results Provided
- YABT Network of partners/collaborators increased
to over 10,000 pa0rticipants - Colombia Through videoconferences, the YABT
Colombia chapter has created a structured format
and there exists collaboration from all sectors
of society in order to improve programs and
opportunities for young people. - Promotion of Directories of Entrepreneurs (over
480 registered) and Organizations (over 520
registered) in the Americas. Initiated March
2004.
4- Entrepreneurial Education Curriculum
- Development of regional curriculum for a skills
and technological training course, working along
with experts and DLCs from Ecuador, Colombia,
Peru, Guatemala and the WBI in Washington D.C. - Taught through blended approach (on-site, on-line
and via videoconferences) - To be replicated throughout the region.
