Point of Departure
Today, there is a general requirement to digitize
historical documents for archives, libraries and
museums. Due to this fact scanning books becomes
a major issue in this field.

• Information is accessible to a broader public
• Quality and volume of information increases
• Books and other (sensible) historical documents
  dont underlie the risk of physical damage

In view of the high price and unsatisfying scan
results existing solutions often do not fit the
requirements, particularly those of middle and
small sized facilities. This was our motivation
to develop a new product concept.

Auto Image Enhancement included!
The book2net scanner is equipped with an image
enhancement software. The enhancement procedure
operates as a separate thread in the background
and will be released after the images are
generated/ scanned according to the
specifications of the image- and quality profile.
Therefore the batch is included in the real
scanning time.
