Biographical Information

• John Lennon was born in Liverpool, England on
  October 9. He lived from 1940-1980. He met his
  first wife Cynthia Powell at art school. He
  created a group called the Quarry Man and they
  performed at school where he was introduced to
  Paul McCartney. They formed a band that John
  named The Beatles Then in 1970 the Beatles broke
  up after Paul announced that he was leaving.
  John then released a solo album with a hit called
  Imagine. John and Cynthia divorced and he
  married Yoko Ono. John and Yoko soon divorced
  and he was single. John Lennon died at the age
  of 40 when he was shot in the back. John was
  just starting over after quitting music for 5
  years when he was shot.

Building Peace .
John Lennon wrote a song called Imagine. It was
a passion that crystallized his dream for the
world. He did a Charity Concert at Madison
Square. Starting with the Toronto Peace Festival
in 1969 John and Yoko did a lot of Rock concert
to support Peace and Love. John Lennon sang a
song called Give Peace A Chance The audience
could not contain themselves and they marched
down fifth avenue and sung Give Peace A Chance.
He was not a follower but a leader always
fighting for peoples lives. He was a person who
cared for others.

We Believe a Peace Hero Is

• Somebody who believes very strongly in peace and
  dedicates there life to make peace. John Lennon
  is a peace hero. Because he wrote lots of songs
  about peace and influenced peoples lifes. A
  peace hero is somebody who goes above and beyond
  what is expected of them. Peace heros are
  always trying to create peace and trying to avoid
  conflict.

As someone who believed very strongly in peace
