Montjuic
Montjuïc mountain (Jewish mountain) has been,
throughout its history, the protagonist of many
events, The historical symbol and oldest monument
is the Castell de Montjuïc,from where there are
beautiful views of the city, now houses the Museu
Militar. The world fair of 1929 transformed the
city, in the same way that the Olympic Games did
in 1992. Examples of this transformation are the

Av. de Maria Cristina the Palau de Victòria

Teatre Grec, etc. However, the most
outstanding construction is the Poble Espanyol
(Spanish village). Also you could visit Fundació
Joan Miró, containing a permanent collection by
this great Catalan artist The stadium and the
swimming pools for the Olympic Games in 1992, the
Palau Sant Jordi, Anella Olímpica, the Estadi
Olímpic de Montjuïc, the Galería Olímpica, Also,
not too far away, you can see the Torre de
Calatrava. You can also take the funicular from
Paral.lel (Montmartre of Barcelona )and the
teleférico to the castle.
