  • NPACI AHM 2000 - discussion, determination of
    metrics we wanted to obtain
  • Fall 2000 - development of Website where EOT
    projects contribute their metrics
  • Winter 2000 - data collection NPACI has 100
    compliance
  • Early 2001 - finalize data collection evaluate
    outcomes/results do a gap analysis

  • New grants - Advanced Networking for Minority
    Serving Institutions, EdGrid, Building Leadership
    workshop, REU students, LEAD Center (4 new
    grants), National Institute for Science Education
    (2 new grants),Oregon State (3 new grants), Rice
    University (2 new grants).
  • New partners - Houston Independent School
    District, BioQuest Project, Lawrence Hall of
    Science at UC Berkeley, univesities in the
    California State U. system, Center for Research
    on Math and Science Education

    site
  • Scaling of programs - GirlTECH (to Boston, San
    Diego, IL, Wisconsin, Hawaii), California
    Alliance for Minority Participation, Education
    Center for Computational Science and Engineering
    (25 expansion), Spend a Summer with a Scientist
    (Rice to U Wisconsin, Madison), Girls are GREAT
    (talking with Girl Scouts about going national)
