NES Library Reading room (1720)

• There are 9 new PC acquired thanks to the HESP
  grant 2003 reading room for 70 seats. Electronic
  catalogue US MARC-SQL is available in the NES
  intranet.
• JSTOR electronic archive and ScienceDirect data
  base for modern periodicals.
• 3? Books Alarm system is installed.
• On the shelves one can find rare for Russia
  collection of foreign journals 1930-1990-eth.
  AER, Brookings Economic Papers, Economic Journal,
  Econometrica, JASA, Review of Economic Studies,
  Slavic Review, etc. ), donated by the
  distinguished economists taught at NES Don
  Patinkin, Dudley Wallace, Zvi Griliches,
  El.Helpman. IMF, World Bank OECD materials are
  also available.
• There are special vitrins for the small temporary
  exhibitions of the new loans.

NES Library main office 1

• In the Office 1 the most important part of the
  Nes collection , reference section, is
  accumulated Handbooks in Economics, Handbooks
  of Statistics series, Palgrave Dictionaries,
  encyclopedia.
• There are books in Russian, monographs in
  Economics, Philosophy, History of Economic
  Though, Management and Finance, etc., and the
  literature and xerocopies for the current module.
• The librarians and library assistants PC are in
  the office 1.

• Library core collection in Economics in English
  around 2000 titles is concentrated in the office
  2. All monographs are available as the entries in
  the electronic catalogue/ One can find the
  necessary book by the author, title, or the key
  word.
• The are also two sections of the books donated by
  Don Patinkin and Zvi Griliches, more than 1000
  volumes, came from Falk Institute and Harvard
  University.
• Current foreign periodicals, NES library
  subscription 2004, is available in the center of
  the office.
• The head librarian with the main PC for
  administrator is in the same office.

• IMF Statistical Yearbooks and Surveys, IMF
  Working papers.
• NBER Working papers since 1997. Thanks to
  Professor Zvi Griliches NES library was included
  into NBER free mailing list.
• Textbooks for English Language

• Contains the textbooks for NES Academic Program
  Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Econometrics,
  Game Theory, International Trade, Political
  Economy, Public Economics,Law and Economics, etc.
• Xerocopies(readers) Archive for the courses
  taught at NES 1994-2004.It is systematized
  chronologically. All the materioals are available
  in the NES library electronic catalogue.
• Partly foreign periodicals till 1990 from Zvi
  Griliches office at Harvard University.
