object types to web browsers. Images (Gif, JPEG,
JPEG2000) Audio (MP3, WMA, etc.) Video (MOV,
MPEG, WMV) PDF Other (Word, Powerpoint, etc.)

books and manuscripts, retaining their structure.

metadata schemes. Mapping fields to Dublin Core
