- Each student is assigned one locker and one cubby
- Place books/notebooks vertically
- 21 inches (height) x 16.5 inches (width) x 17.5

- Each student is given a Lincoln MS Agenda
- Combination Lock for Locker
- Pencil Case (either one you can carry or one that
attaches into a three-ring binder) - Regular Pencils and Blue Black Pens
- Colored Pencils and Colored Markers
- Two highlighters (different colors)
- Scissors, Glue, and White-Out
- Erasers, Ruler, and a Protractor
- Small, hard-back notebook with lined paper (you
can buy in BsAs) - Accordion File Folders (to keep your papers
organized) - One 3-Ring Binder with Lined Paper and Binder
Tabs - Two Graph Paper Spiral Notebooks (one for Math,

11Privileges Responsibilities
- Lunch outside or inside
- Breaks Lunch

- Students may bring but are responsible for
- iPod (cannot be used during class)
- Cell Phones (must be left in locker) only to be
used BEFORE or AFTER school - Gameboys (cannot be used during class)

12Privileges Responsibilities
- When arriving by bus, they must get to the MS
patio and to class alone - When leaving by bus, they must get to bus alone
by 340pm - When participating in After-School Activities,
they must get there alone - All students must leave campus after school OR be
in an adult-supervised activity OR be at one of
the gates

- More homework than Elementary, but not as much as
the kids think - Teachers usually email parents when homework is
not being done - Check your childs agenda every night
- Check Moodle
- On average, 1 hr/night
- HW Club (1x/week)

- No uniform in the Middle School
- Boys should NOT wear
- Football t-shirt (w/ inappropriate slogan)
- No basketball tank-top shirts
- Girls should NOT wear
- Spaghetti straps nor low cut shirts
- Short shorts or short skirts (shorts skirts
must be longer than arm length) - Tube tops
- High heels

16Rules Discipline
- Inappropriate behaviors, consequence could range
from break-time detention, to after-school
detention, to in- or out-of-school suspension for
any of the following infractions - Copying Homework/Plagiarism
- Disrespect
- Lying/Cheating
- Insubordination
- Stealing/Theft
- Skipping class
- Harassing/Bullying another student
- Physically hurting another student
- Physically touching another student in an
inappropriate way

- 3 tardies to the same class note to parents
- 4 tardies to the same class detention with Mr.
Voracek for 30 min. after school - 7 tardies to same class detention with Mr.
Voracek for 60 mins. after school - 10 or more tardies to the same class in-school
suspension - No-show to detention doubles
- Also applies if students arrive late to school

- Grading scale A through F
- Effort Grade 5 through 1
- One comment per teacher
- Just one piece of paper
- Progress Reports (4x per year) to update you on
childs progress - Must sign and return Progress Report

- Hang a wall calendar near study space for
long-term assignments activities. - Dont over-schedule your child.

friends. - Talk to your child about school make it a
ritual. - Ask open-ended questions to prompt conversation.
