CONCLUSIONS
  • CRITICAL THINKING IS OUR STUDENT BODYS STRONGEST
    SKILL
  • MATHEMATICS IS OUR STUDENT BODYS WEAKEST SKILL
  • THERE IS SOME INDICATION THAT WRITING SKILL IS
RISING WITHIN OUR STUDENT BODY AT THE HIGHER
    LEVELS OF PROFICIENCY
  • REASONABLE GOALS COULD BE TO INCREASE THE
PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS OVER THE 10TH PERCENTILE
IN WRITING AND MATHEMATICS, TO INCREASE THE
PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS OVER THE 25TH PERCENTILE
IN READING, AND TO INCREASE THE PERCENTAGE OF
STUDENTS OVER THE 50TH PERCENTILE IN CRITICAL
    THINKING

CONCLUSIONS
  • In general, we are trending higher in student
ratings of their experiences at WNMU
  • Our faculty/student interaction scores are
    relatively high and are stable
  • We do not offer as many interesting campus events
    as our peers
  • Relative to our peers, our students are more
likely to work with other students during class
and less likely to work with other students
    outside of class
  • Our students tend to use the electronic medium
    less than our peers
  • Our students read more books for enjoyment than
    our peers
  • Our students participation in physical fitness
    activities is below our peers
  • Our only continuous decline is the perception by
our students of a decrease in the quality of
    relationships with other students
  • While in line with our geographic peers, our
students perceptions of Advising and Overall
satisfaction is dramatically lower than our
    Carnegie peers.
  • Participation in foreign language coursework is
well below our geographic peers but in line with
    our Carnegie peers.
  • We are more likely to offer Independent Study or
a self-designed major than our peers
