4About the project
Vidmantas Urbonas will cross the Baltic sea by
free style swimming (from Swedish coast to
Lithuanian coast) in July this year. Nobody in
the World has accomplished such a distance in
open waters. This will happen first time
ever. To the question why are you doing this?
Vidmantas replied - I love Lithuania, I love
the Baltic Sea. I am a child of Nature. I have
participated in Ecological campaign and swam
along the Nemunas river. This is a kind of
continuation. I want everybody to notice the
impurity of the Baltic Sea. All of us have to
feel responsibility for the Sea and keep it clean
for the future generations.
