Our Pushcart
Our Pushcart is made up of 2 ladders, One which
is mainly used as a push bar, which is at least
10 cm taller than Alice, who is the tallest
Pusher/Driver, approximately at 160cm. We used a
steering wheel for our steering system, a steel
braking system, two pedal cart wheels for the
front, with trolley wheels at the back. Foam for
the bumper and the handle, a kindergarten school
chair without the legs for where the driver will
sit and a three-point push button seatbelt to
strap the driver into the pushcart.

Investigating Scientifically
Aerodynamics in this investigation we tried to
investigate what position was best for the
drivers aerodynamic ability
Braking We investigated whether rubber, steel
or wood was the most efficient for braking.
Steering Wheel We investigated on whether we
should have a small, medium or large steering
wheel.
The Turning Circle The turning circle was
trying to investigate that if the wheels should
have been closer or further away from the seat.
Wheels In this investigation, we tested out
three things. 1. Big or small. 2. Thick or thin.
3. Plastic or Rubber.

Drawing, Designing, Modeling

• After the investigations, things realy started to
  go into top gear! We were at a very good start,
  with our first ever model of our pushcart mainly
  just a drawing on grid paper. We started our
  design of our pushcart, which is mainly what it
  is today.
• With our logo, we did a vote, choosing on what we
  wanted the logo as, Mainly picking Viviennes
  Design of our logo, which is mainly what is the
  logo which appears at the right corner of our
  uniform
• With our name, like we did on our logo, we made a
  vote on what we wanted to pick. It was a tie
  between two names, Blazing Stars and Shooting
  Asparagus, which then we picked Blazing Stars as
  our Team Name.

Marketing

• The Marketing team is one of the teams that
  helped us quite a bit during our presentation of
  our team. They helped us with the posters, in
  which has all our information of our team. Their
  job is to do posters in which will present our
  team, also helping the media in sponsorship for
  our cart and helping with the powerpoint.
• The Marketing team consists of
• Eileen (Leader), Lezan, Ridah, Elaine, Enrica,
  Felicia, Ben, Keedan, Gautham and Joseph

Our Investigations

• The Drivers and Pushers are the competitors in
  the Technopush, who will race against all the
  other schools that are competing for the prize.
  With our fastest runners of our class, they will
  win all competitions we will enter in.
• The Drivers and Pushers consist of
• Jayde, Alice, Simran, Kathryn, Wahaaj, Edward,
  Eric, Brian and Jason who is for the road safety
  trial.

Builders

• The Builders are the people who built the
  pushcart, with their goal less than 30 min. With
  the Pushcarts Complex Structure and with all the
  nuts and bolts, the builders job is the hardest
  of them all, yet they can complete it. Our carts
  complex structure can be completed by the
  builders in a personal best time of 16 minutes
• The builders consists of
• Varun (leader), Jason, Nathan, Joshua, Vivienne,
  Oscar, Jenny, Kathryn and Wahaaj

Media

• The Media are the people who made this
  presentation and helped the marketing with the
  posters. Our jobs were a little bit easy. With
  some hardships and our pros and cons, we all got
  along. We also helped the marketing in what they
  did, the posters and the photography, and did our
  own separate job, making the powerpoint
  presentation on this disc.
• The Media consists of
• Christine (Leader), Mitchell, Aanika, Nicholas,
  Gorden and Simran

Construction of the Pushcart

• Our Pushcart is made of 2 ladders, Wheels of a
  pedal cart, a steering wheel of a pedal cart,
  foam to hold on and for a bumper, a kindergarten
  chair for our seating and a three-point seatbelt
  of an old car for the seatbelt. It is the
  builders job to construct the pushcart in which
  they will use for the test of 30 minutes to build.
