Online Tutorial Registration System

• This project is concerned with the providing a
  solution to allowing students at the beginning of
  a semester to sign up for tutorials online. The
  current method of signing up for tutorials at the
  beginning of the semester is highly inefficient.
• The main objectives of this honours project are
  as follows
• Allow students to register for tutorials online
  in their own time when they know their
  constraints.
• The system should check the identity of the
  student.
• Once the system knows the identity of the
  student, it should enforce the correct choice
  options.
• Allow students to change the tutorial that they
  have signed up for online.

• Technologies that have been used in this honours
  project, are as follows
• Java Servlets
• Oracle Databases
• Tomcat Server
• HTML
• MySQL

• Allow lecturers to set up tutorial sessions,
  monitor group membership and printing attendance
  checklists.
• Keep attendance records online, which would allow
  students to view their own attendance record.

So far in the project , the student can log Into
the system and make their initial choices with
regards to tutorial selection. By the end of the
project the entire system will be fully
operational and allowing complete functionality
to both students and lecturers.
