Web Services Testing
  • Web Services allows Schedulers to develop
    automated appointment scheduling systems within
their own organization. Web Services is the
technology that will allow integration of the
    mailer and USPS system.
  • USPS FAST and PostalOne! are providing support
for those schedulers that will be developing and
    implementing Web Services to schedule
    appointments.
  • Scheduler Web Services Testing is a 2-phased
testing effort, that allows companies to verify
that they are ready to submit appointments in the
FAST Production environment using Web Services.
  • During Phase 1, companies test that they can
successfully connect to PostalOne! using Web
Services. During Phase 2, companies verify that
test appointments submitted using Web Services,
    are processed by FAST.
  • Forms to register for Web Services Testing are
located on the table in the back of the room.
