Purpose of the Pilot

• Facilitate the management of ILL requests between
  AMICAL members and libraries worldwide
• Increase the visibility of AMICAL members
  collections among the consortium and among
  scholars worldwide
• Support the consortiums ILL, collection
  development and acquisitions projects

Batchload to gather library holdings

• OCLC needs a way to identify materials held by
  AMICAL libraries
• Batchload librarys records to match to records
  in WorldCat
• Creates core union catalog for AMICAL libraries

• Complete Batchload form
• Export records from local catalogs
• Send files to OCLC for analysis
• FTP is preferred method other options available
• Batchload Project Definition is created
• Conversion requirements identified
• Estimate records that will match
