Schedule overview
  • All core subjects will meet 5-7.5 times a week.

  • We will also offer semester and year long
    electives in different areas of study
  • Study halls for students if they so choose
  • Student choice on level of courses and electives

Schedule overview
  • AP courses will be offered in Math, Biology,
    Chemistry and Physics. These classes will meet
    between 5-7.5 times per week using an A B
    rotation schedule
  • AP courses will be also be offered in English,
    History(2009-10) and Foreign language (2010-11)

  • Four levels Advanced Algebra II/Trig) Honors
    (Algebra II), College Prep 1 (Algebra II),
    College Prep -2 (Algebra 1)

    Trigonometry
  • Periodic Functions, Trigonometry, Vectors,
    Complex Numbers, Matrices, Beginning Calculus

  • Calculus AP-AB/BC 2 different classes

  • AMSA High School History Classes
  • 3 Credits required. Will meet everyday
  • Two AP courses Grades 9-10 European
    (1450-Present). Grade 11 American (beginnings to
    Present)
  • Grade 10 and 11 Electives (Nazi Germany, the
    American Presidency and the Supreme Court)
  • Grade 8 to cover World History from 500 1450
  • No changes in grades 6 and 7
  • AMSA High School Art Classes
  • 1 credit required
  • Courses on Renaissance Art, Contemporary Art,
    the isms, This Early American Art,
    Multi-Cultural Art, and Photography
