  • The word entrepreneur is derived from French
    entreprendre (antro-prand) meaning to
    undertake
  • An entrepreneur is an innovator/developer who
    recognizes opportunities converts those
    opportunities into workable/marketable ideas
    adds value through time, effort, money or skills
    assumes risks of the competetive market place to
    implement those ideas and realizes rewards from
    these efforts.
