The Association for Corporate Growth
  • The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) is the
    premier global association for professionals
    involved in corporate growth, corporate
    development, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • ACG Cincinnati was formed in 1993 and has more
    than 230 members from the citys leading
    corporations, accounting and law firms, financial
    institutions, consultants and other enterprises
    dedicated to corporate growth.

  • Round 1 Late January, Early February
  • Teams within each university compete
  • Competition held at each university
  • Round 2 February 25, 2009
  • Top team from each school competes
  • Competition held at the University of Cincinnati
    Tangeman University Center

  • Round 1 Late January Early Feburary
  • Teams from the universities sign up to compete
  • Recommend teams of 3-5 students
  • MA case study is distributed to teams
  • Approximately 1 week to 10 days to prepare
  • Round 1 Competition
  • Teams present their analysis and recommendations
    to a panel of ACGC judges/internal judges.
  • PowerPoint format
  • Judges decide and critique
  • The winning team goes on to Round 2

  • The top teams from Miami University, Northern
    Kentucky University, University of Cincinnati,
    Xavier University and University of Dayton meet
    and compete
  • New case study presented by the students to Round
    2 judges
  • Preparation time not finalized yet anywhere
    from 5-7-10 days
  • PowerPoint presentation format
  • Judges decide and critique
