    throughout macro conventrations allows students
    to learn to incorporate it in their decision
    making process for administration, policy and
    community development
  • Look at ways to increase enrollment of students
    in macro concentration and raise the status of
    macro practice

  • Schools partner with agencies to support the use
    of EBP in agencies
  • Teach EBP in Leadership, advocacy

    in teaching EBP, including continuing education
    and partnerships w/MH agencies

    the best route to administration is through
    direct practice fails to train the student to
    use the EBP process for administrative, policy
    and community development

    can be the foundation for administrative

  • EBP includes practice wisdom and does not rely
    solely on evidence refer to Thyers definition
  • Recognize that best available evidence does not
    always mean RCTs, but covers a wide range of
    evidence
  • When we encounter resistance to EBP in community
    development work with the community to evaluate
    the program they choose and add to the evidence
    of what is or is not effective
